This recipe has been in my holiday file for many years now. I got it off the back of a can of cut yams, so hence the specification of a brand. You can ignore it if you wish.
If your family has a sweet tooth like mine, I suggest you double this. Works fine in a crock pot, but spray the sides well with cooking spray or you'll still be scrubbing a week later. Better yet, use a crock pot liner.
