28 Days of Heart Guest Author-- Tilly Greene

Where My Love of Football Led Me by Tilly Greene

Hello, everyone. My name is Tilly Greene, an erotic romance author, and I wrote “And She Scores” for the ARe's 28 Days of Heart project that benefits the American Heart Association.

Despite not being athletic, I love sports, and always have. In fact, I’ve written about heroes that play ice hockey, rugby, F1 racing and now, with “And She Scores”, [American] football. Personally, I’m looking forward to the Superbowl with a bunch of friends and cheering on both teams – love Indianapolis and its Colts and yet my heart is eager for New Orleans and their Saints to have something to celebrate. It’s funny that I love this sport so much. You see, my high school team was one of those that wasn’t very good. I was a yell leader [and I was as bad, no rhythm kind of bad] and remember more of the defense cheers than the offense – now that’s telling!

And She Scores” is a product of my love for the game and I kept the personal thread going by including my hometown, love for Mexican food, and watching fabulous sunsets with my cutie. Actually, the entire project is personal. I have a couple family members, young and old, that have suffered heart attacks, and it’s a constant worry what will happen next. I’d love to kick the disease to the curb and I’m sure others would as well.

So, what the story about? Football’s pre-season is about to begin and, defensive end and captain, Patrick Conway is returning from what could’ve been a career ending injury. Sarah Winters, focused on making a career as a respected reporter in an all male sport, is about to conduct his first interview. Did I mention they used to date? Were driven apart by lies? Still cared for each other? Or that her first sight of him is in the locker room and he’s just returned from working out? No?

What could possibly happen between these two, while at a major arena, with a ton of people around them? To find out, you’ll need to visit All Romance or OmniLit, and pick up a copy of “And She Scores”. Remember, each ebook you buy, the proceeds go to the American Heart Association.
